Bedrock Landscaping is seeking an experienced and dependable Irrigation Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and assisting with the installation of commercial and residential irrigation systems while providing quality workmanship and excellent service. Responsibilities Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair irrigation system issues. Repair and replace sprinkler heads, valves, pipes, fittings, wiring, and other irrigation components. Locate and repair leaks, broken lines, and damaged irrigation equipment. Troubleshoot irrigation controllers, electrical components, valves, and wiring. Adjust sprinkler heads and irrigation zones to ensure proper coverage and efficient water usage. Program and adjust irrigation controllers based on seasonal and property needs. Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on irrigation systems. Assist with irrigation system installations and modifications as needed. Identify irrigation concerns and communicate recommended repairs or improvements to management. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and repairs completed. Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in a clean and safe condition. Follow all company safety procedures and jobsite requirements. Work effectively with landscaping crews, supervisors, and account managers. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous irrigation installation, maintenance, or repair experience preferred. Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, including controllers, valves, sprinkler heads, piping, and electrical troubleshooting. Ability to diagnose irrigation problems and complete repairs efficiently. Experience with commercial landscape irrigation systems preferred. Texas Irrigation Technician license preferred. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record preferred. Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and irrigation equipment. Ability to work independently and manage assigned service calls. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Dependable with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality work. Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and customers. Physical Requirements Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, dig, and perform physical work throughout the workday. Ability to lift and carry materials, tools, and equipment as required. Ability to work around construction and landscaping equipment safely.
