Responsibilities Install and maintain irrigation systems, ensuring proper functionality and efficiency. Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues or necessary repairs. Utilize hand tools and power tools to dig trenches for pipe installation and system modifications. Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to integrate irrigation solutions into overall landscape care plans. Troubleshoot mechanical issues related to irrigation equipment and perform necessary repairs. Maintain accurate records of irrigation system installations, repairs, and maintenance schedules. Educate clients on proper irrigation practices and system operation for optimal garden health. Requirements Proven experience in landscape maintenance or related field is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Familiarity with various irrigation methods and techniques for efficient water usage. Ability to dig trenches and perform physical labor as required by the job. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. A valid driver's license may be required depending on job location.
