Job Summary We are seeking Irrigation Technicians and irrigation crew. This position involves diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing residential and commercial irrigation systems with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and quality workmanship. The ideal candidate is confident working with a team, can dig, lay pipe, follow directions and understands how to complete jobs correctly and efficiently the first time. Ideally this candidate will learn the basics and then grow into an independent service Technician. This is a hands-on field position for someone who already has irrigation experience and is comfortable working in a fast-paced service environment. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair irrigation system issues including valves, sprinkler heads, piping, wiring, pumps, and controllers Perform system inspections, seasonal startups, winterizations, and routine maintenance Assist with installation of new irrigation systems and system upgrades Program and troubleshoot irrigation controllers, including smart irrigation systems Identify leaks, clogs, pressure issues, and system malfunctions and complete necessary repairs Communicate professionally with customers regarding service work and recommendations Communicate effectively with the office to ensure all work is accurately documented, recorded, billed, and tracked for scheduling and follow-up Maintain accurate service records and job notes Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles safely and professionally in the field Qualifications Prior hands-on experience as an Irrigation Technician required Solid understanding of irrigation systems, controllers, valves, pumps, and wiring Ability to independently troubleshoot and repair system issues in the field Mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and power tools daily Ability to read basic irrigation layouts or understand system zones preferred Strong communication and customer service skills Dependable, professional, and team-oriented Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Irrigation certification is a plus but not required What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who: Has real field experience in irrigation service or installation Can work independently without constant supervision or instruction Takes pride in doing quality work the right way the first time Is dependable, punctual, and consistent Communicates clearly with customers, coworkers, and office staff Works well within a team environment when needed Maintains a strong work ethic and professional attitude in the field Is looking for a stable, long-term position with a family-owned company Benefits Paid vacation Paid holidays Overtime opportunities Company-provided uniforms Bonus and wage increase opportunities based on performance and business conditions Supportive, team-oriented work environment Schedule Monday through Friday Occasional overtime and weekend work during peak season Closing We are looking for an experienced irrigation technician who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a stable, family-owned company with a strong reputation and a dependable team.
