Summary 'Kennel Assistant' is a vital role contributing to our mission by ensuring the well-being and care of pets during their stay at our resort. This position plays a crucial part in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for our furry clients. Responsibilities Assist with the daily care and handling of pets in the kennel And barn Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kennel area. Support groomers by preparing pets for grooming sessions. Monitor pet behavior and health, reporting any concerns to supervisors. Provide excellent customer service to pet owners during drop-off and pick-up. Assist with feeding, walking, and exercising pets as needed. Same with the farm animals at our barn facility. Maintain accurate records of pet care activities. Collaborate with team members to create a positive environment for pets. Qualifications Previous experience in a kennel or animal care setting is preferred. Strong skills in animal handling and restraint techniques. Knowledge of pet grooming practices is a plus. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to lift heavy animals safely as required. Passion for animal welfare and commitment to providing quality care.
