Overview Messer Landscape, Inc. is seeking a reliable, punctual, and dedicated Landscape Gardener. Join our dynamic landscaping team and bring outdoor spaces to life with your passion and expertise! In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining beautiful, healthy landscapes by applying your knowledge of horticulture, plant care, and bed maintenance. Your energetic approach will help maintain inviting environments for clients and communities alike. Whether working on residential gardens, commercial properties, or public parks, you'll play a vital role in maintaining outdoor spaces as vibrant, thriving landscapes. Applicants must show acceptable work history and attendance; punctuality and good work ethic are essential. If this sounds like you, please apply. Duties Drive pickup or small dump truck, sometimes with trailer Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and pests to ensure proper care is applied effectively Hand-weed bed spaces to maintain bed health and beauty Apply mulch seasonally Apply pesticides and plant pest control techniques in accordance with safety regulations and environmental standards (preferred) Requirements Valid Driver's license (must pass insurance verification) Ability to lift 50 lbs Proven experience with landscape maintenance, gardening, or farming environments Familiarity with horticulture practices including plant identification, growing techniques, and native plant care Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions for extended periods Knowledge of pesticide management protocols and plant pest control methods (preferred)
Pay:
$15.00 - $22.00 per hour
