The Cannabis Product Technician is responsible for supporting the hands-on manufacturing and production of cannabis products. This position participates directly in the production process, including manufacturing pre-rolls and other cannabis products, weighing and portioning cannabis material, filling and jarring products, packaging, labeling, and completing finished goods according to established product specifications and production standards. The Cannabis Product Technician works as part of the manufacturing team to transform cannabis and cannabis materials into finished products while maintaining product quality, consistency, accuracy, sanitation, and regulatory compliance throughout the manufacturing process.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manufacture and produce cannabis products according to established formulas, specifications, production procedures, and quality standards.
• Produce and assemble cannabis pre-rolls, including preparing material, portioning, filling, finishing, and inspecting completed products.
• Weigh, measure, and portion cannabis and cannabis materials accurately throughout the manufacturing process.
• Fill and prepare jars, containers, and other product formats according to established specifications.
• Perform hands-on production and manufacturing activities as assigned based on production schedules and operational needs.
• Package manufactured cannabis products using approved packaging and procedures.  Apply product labels accurately and verify that labels correspond with the correct product, batch, and package.
• Inspect products throughout the manufacturing and packaging process for weight, consistency, quality, appearance, and accuracy.
• Assist with preparing, staging, counting, and organizing cannabis, ingredients, packaging components, and other manufacturing materials.
• Follow established batch, production, and manufacturing procedures.
• Complete required production, batch, packaging, inventory, and other manufacturing records accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain proper identification and separation of cannabis materials, work-in
• process products, batches, and finished goods.
• Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation of cannabis, finished products, packaging materials, and production supplies.
• Maintain clean, sanitary, and organized manufacturing and packaging areas.
• Clean and sanitize manufacturing equipment, tools, containers, surfaces, and workstations according to established procedures.
• Properly handle cannabis waste, production waste, and other manufacturing materials according to company procedures and applicable regulations.
• Follow all standard operating procedures, safety requirements, security procedures, and applicable cannabis regulations.
• Immediately report production errors, product discrepancies, labeling errors, inventory discrepancies, quality concerns, equipment issues, or compliance concerns to the General Manager. Qualifications
• Must meet all legal and regulatory requirements for employment within a licensed cannabis manufacturing establishment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing consistent, high-quality products.
• Ability to perform hands-on manufacturing and repetitive production tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Ability to follow written manufacturing procedures, product specifications, and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills and the ability to accurately weigh, measure, count, and record products and materials.
• Ability to maintain an organized and sanitary manufacturing environment.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a production team.
• Ability to handle cannabis and cannabis products responsibly and maintain required security standards.
• Previous cannabis manufacturing, production, packaging, food production, or similar experience is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements:

• Standing or sitting for extended periods.
• Performing repetitive hand and finger movements associated with cannabis manufacturing, pre-roll production, packaging, labeling, and product preparation.
• Bending, reaching, and moving throughout manufacturing and production areas.
• Safely lifting and carrying production materials, finished products, equipment, and supplies as reasonably required by the position.
• Maintaining the manual dexterity necessary to accurately manufacture, weigh, portion, package, and label cannabis products.
