Job Description

Vermont Patients Alliance is Vermont's longest serving Cannabis company. Now owned and operated by Zenbarn, is a multi-faceted mission-driven cannabis and hospitality company focused on producing high-quality, medical-grade cannabis products with care and integrity. We're looking for motivated individuals who want to grow their skills and contribute to a passionate, hardworking team. Our operations include an innovative cultivation facility, manufacturing and retail cannabis at our Waterbury dispensary and Medical dispensary in Montpelier. We also have a sister business Zenbarn ventures that operates a music and events venue.

Position Overview:

This is an entry-level position in our cultivation department—a great opportunity to learn and grow within the cannabis industry. As a Cultivation Technician 1, you'll support our grow team under the guidance of experienced cultivators.

Key Responsibilities:

Bucking, Trimming and sorting dried cannabis flower Trimming, pruning, harvesting, and watering cannabis plants Daily facility cleaning and sanitation tasks Routine maintenance of cultivation tools and spaces Following standard operating procedures and team instructions Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Passion for cannabis and a strong work ethic Ability to work in hot, humid environments and stand for long periods Willingness to learn and take direction Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills Positive attitude and ability to work well with others in a team setting Must be 21 years of age or older Must be able to pass both state and federal background checks

HIGHLY PREFERRED

Candidate with

Current Vermont Cannabis ID Card Experience:

PREFERRED

Experience with basic cannabis or similar plant care However, No cannabis experience required—training will be provided for the right candidates
