Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Irrigation Specialist & Maintenance technician to join our team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining irrigation systems and landscape features to ensure healthy, vibrant outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of horticulture, landscape maintenance, and the use of various tools and equipment. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential lawns to large commercial landscapes, contributing to the aesthetic and functional quality of outdoor environments. Duties Install, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as excavators. Conduct routine maintenance on irrigation components to ensure optimal performance and water efficiency. Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aeration to promote healthy turf growth. Maintain landscape features through pruning, planting, mulching, and general landscape upkeep. Operate construction equipment when necessary for landscape installation or renovation projects. Assist with landscaping projects involving construction activities such as grading or soil preparation. Inspect landscapes regularly for issues related to irrigation or plant health and address problems promptly. Follow safety protocols during all operations to ensure a safe working environment. Skills Mechanical knowledge related to irrigation systems and landscape equipment. Experience with irrigation installation, repair, and maintenance. Knowledge of lawn care practices and landscape maintenance techniques. Familiarity with landscaping design principles and horticulture fundamentals. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and landscaping machinery including excavators. Ability to operate construction equipment safely and effectively. Strong understanding of landscape construction processes. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues with irrigation or landscape features. Physical ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about outdoor environments who possess technical skills in irrigation and landscape maintenance.
