Seasonal Grain Scale Operator Locations:

Janesville, Clinton, Sharon, and Avalon, Wisconsin Join Our Harvest Team! We are seeking dependable Seasonal Grain Scale Operators to support grain elevator operations during the harvest season. In this role, you will work directly with truck drivers and grain haulers, accurately weighing inbound and outbound loads, processing documentation, and assisting with grain grading activities. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy a fast-paced agricultural environment and providing great customer service. Both seasonal and temp-to-hire opportunities may be available based on location and business needs.

Schedule Day Shift:

Typically 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM with

FREQUENT OVERTIME

Hours will vary based on harvest volume and weather conditions Frequent overtime required during peak harvest season, including 12 hour days Expect 50-60+ hours per week , including weekends as needed Key Responsibilities Operate truck scales and accurately record grain weights Process scale tickets and other documentation using computer systems Sample and grade incoming corn according to company procedures Communicate with truck drivers and direct traffic around the facility Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company standards Assist with general grain handling and elevator operations as needed Work both indoors and outdoors throughout the workday Qualifications Basic to intermediate computer skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent customer service and communication skills Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment Ability and willingness to work extended hours during harvest season Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Agricultural, grain handling, farming, or elevator experience is helpful but not required What We're Looking For Successful candidates are dependable, safety-conscious, and able to thrive in a busy harvest environment.
