Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Beef Farm Help to join our agricultural team. In this hands-on role, you will assist with daily Angus beef farm operations, livestock management, equipment maintenance, and general farm duties to ensure the health and productivity of our cattle and farm environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, contributing directly to the success of a thriving beef operation. The ideal candidate is energetic, safety-conscious, and eager to develop their skills in farming and animal husbandry. Duties Assist with livestock handling, feeding, watering, and health monitoring to promote animal well-being Operate farm machinery including tractors, skidsteer, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently Perform routine maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on farm equipment and machinery Support seed production operations as needed Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting, fencing repairs, equipment repairs, and general farm upkeep Maintain cleanliness and organization of barns, pens, storage areas, trucks, equipment, buildings and workspaces Follow safety standards in production environments to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for all team members Skills Beef cattle farming experience and ability to oversee team tasks effectively Proficiency in operating forklifts, agricultural tractors, heavy equipment, and power tools Strong animal care skills with experience in livestock management and animal husbandry practices Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment repair and maintenance Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions with manual handling of heavy loads Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to farming activities and inventory management Knowledge of safety standards in agricultural production environments Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during daily tasks Apply with us if you're passionate about farming and animal care!
