Description Responsible and accountable for leading and executing the materials management strategy for the site, including production planning, material flow, inventory control, material availability, and supervision of Material Control personnel. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supervise and manage the site Material Control department. Coordinate material supply and demand to ensure on-time delivery. Monitor production schedules and monitor inventories. Support analyze inventory requirements and identify shortages. Escalate critical shortages and expedite material availability. Maintain job and transfer orders and planning parameters. Monitor ERP/MRP reports and inventory metrics. Ensure inventory accuracy through inventory control systems. Collaborate with Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and suppliers. Support scrap reduction and quality initiatives. Lead, coach, develop and evaluate employees. Manage attendance, performance and employee relations. Maintain safety compliance and conduct accident investigations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives. Manage departmental procedures, workflows and projects. Track and report departmental KPIs. Ideal Qualifications Bachelor degree preferred. Minimum 5 years experience.
