A Farm, Nursery, or Greenhouse Worker propagates, cultivates and harvests plants, primarily flowers, trees, shrubs and sod, and other crops such as mushrooms that are grown in greenhouses, or grows and harvests farm crops such as grain, fruit or vegetables. Operates and maintains equipment used to grow and harvest plants and crops. Cares for animals including dairy cows or chickens, pigs or other animals raised for meat.

Job Description

Gpac is working with a well-respected Ag operation that is looking for a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Farm Equipment Operator/Technician . Excellent communication skills a must. Preferred applicants will have a minimum of 3 years Farm Operations experience, but the company is willing to train the right candidate. This company offers very competitive pay and benefits.

Farm Equipment Operator/Technician Responsibilities:

Farm Equipment Operation including tractors, combines, and custom applicating equipment Ensure maintenance and repairs on equipment is done timely and accurately Operate tractor-trailer to haul grain & chemical

Farm Equipment Operator/Technician Requirements:

High School diploma/GED required 3+ years Farm Equipment Operation preferred Excellent communication and leadership skills
