Assistant Herdsman - Full-Time We are looking for a dependable and motivated Assistant Herdsman to join our dairy operation. This is a great opportunity for someone with a desire to work in agriculture who is interested in developing their skills in herd management and dairy operations. Position Responsibilities Assist with the daily care and management of the dairy herd Monitor animal health, behavior, and overall well-being Assist with feeding, herd health, breeding, and other daily herd activities Maintain accurate records and follow established herd-management procedures Learn and utilize Cow Manager technology and the Dairy Comp herd management system Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Work closely with the Herdsman and farm team to support daily operations Qualifications A genuine desire to work in agriculture and with dairy cattle Previous dairy or livestock experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new technology Dependable, hardworking, and willing to learn Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to work around large animals and perform physical farm duties Training & Compensation Training provided on-site Hourly pay based on experience Compensation will be discussed further after completion of training Full-time position Benefits package available Starting as soon as possible If you have a strong work ethic, an interest in agriculture, and a willingness to learn, we would like to hear from you!
