A Farm, Nursery, or Greenhouse Worker propagates, cultivates and harvests plants, primarily flowers, trees, shrubs and sod, and other crops such as mushrooms that are grown in greenhouses, or grows and harvests farm crops such as grain, fruit or vegetables. Operates and maintains equipment used to grow and harvest plants and crops. Cares for animals including dairy cows or chickens, pigs or other animals raised for meat.

Job Description

A local leader in the Ag Industry is looking to hire an Equipment Operator/Farm Hand . This position is best suited for someone who can multi-task throughout their days. This position is an opportunity to advance your ag career with long-term opportunities for growth potential!
Equipment Operator/Farm Hand Responsibilities:
Operate various equipment such as tractors, sprayers, etc. Maintain current equipment by performing general maintenance and repairs when needed Haul chemical and grain Work overtime and varied hours depending on the season, to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner
Equipment Operator/Farm Hand Qualifications:
Valid Driver's License required Mechanical skills preferred General ag background and knowledge preferred Strong work ethic and self-motivation Passion for agriculture
