Job Description
Overview:
- Room and Board is provided. This position will be a 1099 Contract position and you must be able to provide your own insurance Join our team as a Ranch Hand and be a part of our farm's growth and success. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about farming and eager to contribute to the daily operations of our ranch.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the day-to-day tasks involved in running a small ranch. We have 4 cows and a mini donkey for now.
- Operate hand tools and farm machinery to perform various agricultural duties
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as required in the field
- Maintain and repair equipment, buildings, barns, fences, etc. to ensure proper functioning
- Irrigate fields as needed
- Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations
Requirements:
- Experience working on a farm or ranch is preferred
- Ability to operate and maintain farm equipment
- Proficiency in performing heavy lifting tasks
- Knowledge of irrigation systems
- Basic understanding of equipment repair
