Job Description
Who We're Looking For:
- Advanced degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related scientific discipline.
- Demonstrated leadership experience within R D or technology management, ideally in agriculture specialty chemicals, crop protection, and life sciences.
- Proven ability to lead complex innovation programs from concept through commercialization.
- Strategic thinker with a strong understanding of how to connect science, sustainability, and business outcomes.
- Passion for innovation with a collaborative mindset and ability to influence across a global organization.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team of scientists and technical experts, fostering a culture aligned with Croda's values of collaboration, innovation, and sustainability in the agriculture sector.
- Define and execute agriculture R D strategies that support our Smart Science vision and align with commercial and sustainability goals.
- Oversee a diverse portfolio of crop protection research programs, ensuring delivery of innovative, market-relevant, and sustainable solutions.
- Collaborate closely with commercial, marketing, and global life science teams to translate customer and market insights into differentiated technologies.
- Manage resources, budgets, and project pipelines to deliver maximum value and impact.
- Champion continuous improvement, driving new ways of working that accelerate innovation and strengthen Croda's technical leadership in the agriculture marketplace.
