20125 Charles Green Blvd, Loxahatchee, FL 33470 Position Overview Andersen Nursery Farms, Inc. is seeking a dependable, motivated, and experienced Farm Foreman to join our team at our Loxahatchee, Florida location. The Farm Foreman will assist with supervising daily farm and nursery operations, coordinating employees, assigning work, monitoring productivity and quality, and helping management maintain an organized and efficient operation. The ideal candidate will have experience in agriculture, nursery production, landscaping, greenhouse operations, or a similar environment, along with strong leadership and communication skills. The selected candidate will receive extensive hands-on training on Andersen Nursery Farms' procedures, production systems, safety standards, and operational expectations. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily farm and nursery crews. Assign daily tasks and priorities to employees. Follow up to ensure work is completed correctly and on time. Monitor employee productivity and work quality. Assist with plant production and general nursery operations. Assist with irrigation and watering activities. Monitor plant condition and report growing or quality concerns. Assist with moving plants, pots, materials, and supplies. Support receiving and organization of incoming plant material and supplies. Maintain organized production and work areas. Assist with inventory and material organization when needed. Communicate daily priorities, problems, and progress to management. Help enforce company procedures and production standards. Assist in implementing new processes and operational improvements. Help maintain a clean and safe working environment. Ensure employees follow company safety procedures. Assist management with training and developing employees. Support other farm activities as needed. Experience and Qualifications Previous experience in agriculture, nursery production, greenhouse operations, landscaping, farming, or a related field preferred. Previous supervisory, foreman, crew leader, or team leader experience preferred. Knowledge of basic plant care and agricultural practices is preferred. Familiarity with irrigation systems is a plus. Basic math skills. Strong leadership and communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple employees and priorities. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to perform physical work, including lifting and moving materials when necessary. Dependable and able to follow through on assignments. Willingness to learn and participate in extensive company training. Bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred.
