ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise driver fleet, both chick delivery and egg pickup. Responsible for all Pilgrim's Pride and DOT transportation related records and reports. Responsible for GPS system reviews. Supervise egg procurement and set/set schedule. Supervise inovojection process and transfer crews. Assist in the supervision of production and maintenance through production supervisor and maintenance AA partner. Serve as backup to SAP Buy It/SAP Grow It/Timekeeping. Maintain safe work environment, conduct safety training and safety meetings as scheduled. Conduct weekly safety inspection. Supervisory responsibilities for personnel assigned, including hiring, scheduling, disciplinary procedures, evaluations, etc. Supervision of other hatchery departments as necessary to cover vacations or leaves. Promote continuous improvement. Other duties as assigned by plant manager.

QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION REQUIREMENT

High School or GED, College Degree Preferred.

EXPERIENCE

Three years hatchery or live production experience and/or three years plant supervisor experience. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Good people skills. Good verbal and written communication skills Basic computer skills; including working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs Word and Excel. SAP experience preferred. Good safety record. Able to serve on call nights and weekends as scheduled 1
