Cultivation Manager - Full Time Holistic Wellness is a unique, vibrant entity in the Maine cannabis world. We're not simply a cannabis products distribution company. We are seeking an experienced Cultivation Manager to lead operations at our Southern Maine cultivation facility, which includes both indoor rooms and outdoor grow space. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can own a crop schedule from clone to harvest, build and manage an irrigation and feed strategy, and run a team while still being comfortable in the rooms and in the field themselves.

Position Overview:

The Cultivation Manager is responsible for the health, yield, and quality of every crop on site across both indoor and outdoor production. This includes planning and maintaining the crop schedule, managing irrigation and nutrient programs, overseeing integrated pest management, directing harvest, and supervising and developing the cultivation team. The right candidate can work independently with minimal oversight and also lead, train, and coordinate a crew through peak season. Verifiable professional references are required for this position. Daily and ongoing responsibilities will include: Building and maintaining the full crop schedule — propagation, veg, flower, and harvest timing — to keep production consistent and aligned with sales and processing demand Coordinating outdoor season planning: field prep, transplant timing, trellising, and harvest windows around Maine's growing season and weather Designing, running, and adjusting irrigation and fertigation strategy across indoor and outdoor sites, including feed schedules, runoff and EC/pH monitoring, and adjustments by strain and growth stage Managing environmental controls in indoor rooms — temperature, humidity, VPD, CO2, airflow, and lighting schedules Leading integrated pest management, including scouting, preventative applications, and documentation of all inputs Overseeing harvest, drying, and hand-off to post-harvest and processing Supervising, scheduling, training, and evaluating cultivation staff Maintaining accurate records of inputs, crop status, yields, and compliance documentation Managing inventory of nutrients, media, and cultivation supplies, and forecasting ordering needs Writing and enforcing SOPs and daily task checklists for the cultivation team Maintaining sanitation standards and contamination prevention across all grow spaces Diagnosing and troubleshooting plant health issues quickly and communicating them up before they become crop-wide Coordinating with processing, packaging, and management teams on timing, expected yields, and strain planning

Requirements:

Maine state resident, at least 21 years of age Verifiable prior references from previous cultivation employers (required) Demonstrated commercial cultivation experience — indoor and outdoor preferred Valid Driver's License (Required) Must be able to pass state-mandated background check Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet in varying indoor and outdoor conditions Applicants with an active RIC Card will have priority consideration during the selection process The ideal candidate will have: Proven experience managing a crop schedule at commercial scale from clone through harvest Strong working knowledge of irrigation and fertigation systems — design, setup, and troubleshooting Experience with both indoor environmental control and outdoor/field cultivation Solid plant health diagnostic skills and practical IPM experience The ability to work independently and self-direct, while leading and collaborating with a team Prior supervisory experience — scheduling, training, and holding a crew accountable Strong organizational skills, accountability, and reliability Comfort with record keeping, compliance documentation, and basic computer/software skills Mechanical aptitude for irrigation, lighting, and environmental equipment Familiarity with Maine cannabis regulations is a plus
