This role is responsible for crop health, environmental controls, production planning, inventory management, team leadership, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Manage all stages of cultivation, including propagation, vegetative growth, flowering, harvesting, drying, curing, and storage. Monitor and optimize environmental conditions, irrigation systems, nutrient programs, and cultivation schedules to maximize plant health and yield. Lead, train, schedule, and develop cultivation staff while promoting a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement. Maintain compliance with all Minnesota cannabis regulations, company policies, and seed-to-sale tracking requirements. Oversee inventory controls, recordkeeping, plant tracking, and audit readiness. Implement and manage Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs and biosecurity protocols. Coordinate facility maintenance, equipment upkeep, and sanitation procedures. Collaborate with compliance, processing, inventory, and retail teams to ensure production goals and product availability are achieved. Monitor cultivation performance metrics and prepare reports on yields, crop health, labor efficiency, and operational outcomes. Qualifications Minimum three (3) years of cannabis cultivation experience. Minimum two (2) years of leadership or management experience. Strong knowledge of cannabis cultivation practices, environmental controls, irrigation systems, and plant health management. Understanding of Minnesota cannabis regulations and compliance requirements. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a cultivation environment and lift up to 50 pounds as needed. Performance Expectations Success in this role will be measured by product quality, harvest yields, inventory accuracy, regulatory compliance, labor efficiency, crop health, facility cleanliness, and the development and retention of cultivation team members. Working Conditions This position operates primarily within an indoor cultivation facility and requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, and working around cultivation equipment, lighting systems, and plant materials. Occasional after-hours availability may be required to address cultivation or facility-related issues.
