Job Description

Salty Underground is an internet/retail company specializing in the sale and aquaculture of marine livestock. We are seeking a detailed person that is able to work in an every changing fast paced environment. Needs to be able to be on their feet for extended periods of time, This person will be responsible for providing and over seeing husbandry of aquatic animals, customer service, and shipping. This will also include daily observations of diet, behavioral habits of the livestock, and maintenance of the systems. Must be able to work weekends. Qualifications/Requirements Experience working with Saltwater Livestock, aqua-culture , or related degree is a requirement. Must possess strong observational skills to ensure animal health and safety Must possess sound judgment and the ability to use common sense for effective decision-making. Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, work under pressure, meet deadlines, and be able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Good communication skills, attention to detail, and task completion are essential Ability to work a flexible schedule that will include weekends and holidays as required. Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds, kneel, bend, crouch, squat, and stand for extended periods of time.
Pay:
