A Farm or Ranch Manager manages operations at a farm or ranch. Directs crop production and management of livestock herds and supervises farm workers who grow and harvest crops or tend to farm animals. Purchases supplies such as seed, fertilizer or animal feed, operates and repairs farm equipment, and maintains facilities. Monitors prices and adapts production as needed due to market changes, weather conditions or other factors.

Job Description
- Basic knowledge of farming operations-MUST have calving experience-this is vital to the operation. Horses with roping experience welcome to accompany employee.
- Experience with using hay equipment, skid loaders, tractors, TMR feed wagon, manure spreader, power tools
- Ability to act independently and to be self-motivated
- Willingness to learn and carry-out instructions effectively
- Ability to problem solve when unexpected situations arise
- Record of reliability and dependability
- Desire and ability to work in a physically active environment, mainly outdoors
- Looking for a farm hand/couple/family, this position is a lifestyle not a 9-5 3/4 bedroom, 1 bath house and basic utilities in addition to starting salary.
