Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hazelnut Farm Production Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of hazelnut cultivation, harvesting, and farm operations. This role is vital in ensuring the efficient, safe, and sustainable production of high-quality hazelnuts. As a key leader on the farm, you will coordinate daily activities with owners and other managers, supervise staff, and uphold safety standards to maximize yield and operational excellence. If you thrive in outdoor environments, possess strong mechanical and agricultural skills, this is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the field. Duties Supervise daily farm activities including planting, irrigation, pest management, harvesting, and post-harvest processing Manage farm staff by assigning tasks and monitoring performance Operate and maintain farm machinery such as tractors, harvesters, irrigation systems, forklifts, and other heavy equipment Conduct routine equipment repairs and troubleshooting using welding, power tools, hand tools, and basic mechanical knowledge Maintain detailed records and operational reports Coordinate with other managers to ensure efficient and effective production Experience Proven supervising experience in agricultural or farm settings with a strong understanding of farm operations. Extensive hands-on experience operating agricultural machinery including tractors and harvesters Knowledge of mechanical repair techniques such as welding and equipment maintenance to troubleshoot issues efficiently Demonstrated ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions with physical stamina for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks Experience with the hazelnut industry and best practices is important Basic math skills for measurements and record keeping are essential for accurate documentation of farm activities Join our team to help with continued growth in an exciting industry. Pay:
$75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
