Purchases supplies such as seed, fertilizer or animal feed, operates and repairs farm equipment, and maintains facilities. Monitors prices and adapts production as needed due to market changes, weather conditions or other factors.
National livestock company is looking for a Feed Mill Manager due to a recent promotion. This company manufactures mostly cattle feed. In this role you would oversee the day to day production, increase production, hiring/firing and capital improvement projects. Feed Mill Manager Job Description:
Maximize production Hire/Train/Lead a team of 20 total employees Help grow business to become a continuous facility Oversee safety, OSHA, HACCP for the facility Host international visitors and large customer tours Train Employees and hold them accountable Manage budgets and P&L Be out in the facility making sure things are getting done
Feed Mill Manager Background Requirements:
3+ years manufacturing experience required (livestock feed or nutrition experience is preferred) May also consider other areas of Ag operations (grain) LEAN, OSHA, HACCP and safety experience preferred Strong communicator and leader Need to be able to motivate and lead people of all levels Experience growing a team and improving processes
Compensation and Benefits:
Base Salary between $100,000-$130,000 with bonus possibility Full Benefit Package (Health, Dental, Vision)
