A Farm or Ranch Manager manages operations at a farm or ranch. Directs crop production and management of livestock herds and supervises farm workers who grow and harvest crops or tend to farm animals. Purchases supplies such as seed, fertilizer or animal feed, operates and repairs farm equipment, and maintains facilities. Monitors prices and adapts production as needed due to market changes, weather conditions or other factors.

Description Feed horses, goats, chickens, and dogs per daily schedule Groom horses Clean hooves Turn out horses daily Evening barn feeding Move supplies from Hay/storage barn to other barns/sheds Able to hook up horse trailer to truck and haul horse(s) as needed Need to be available 24 hrs a day in the rare event of an emergency There are two other full time farm hands who require little supervision. Occasional stall cleaning Requirements Honest with a good work ethic Reliable Valid Drivers license Pick up alfalfa from vendor once per week Must be able to speak Spanish as well as English Take out garbage twice per week At least two references from non family members Minimum of five years experience working with live stock Random drug testing Housing Included Two bedroom, 1 bath home

$45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
