Job Description

We have partnered with a client looking to fill an Agriculture Data Entry role within their team. This position combines accurate agricultural data management with Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) auditing responsibilities and light supervisory duties. The ideal candidate has an agricultural background, strong organizational skills, and the ability to lead a small team while ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Accurately enter and maintain agricultural production, harvest, and inventory data. Review data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Conduct and coordinate Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) audits and maintain required documentation. Ensure compliance with food safety, traceability, and regulatory requirements. Prepare reports and maintain records for internal management and external audits. Supervise and provide daily direction to a small team of employees. Assist with employee scheduling, training, and performance oversight. Communicate effectively with field staff, management, and customers regarding production records and compliance. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to operational efficiency and food safety. Qualifications Agricultural background through education, work experience, or farming/ranching experience required. Experience with agricultural operations, produce handling, or food safety programs preferred. Knowledge of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) or willingness to learn. Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other data entry software. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
