Experience 0 - 1 year Save Job LinkedIn Copy URL Email Facebook Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries is seeking to fill 2 Chronic Wasting Disease Technician positions to support ongoing statewide monitoring of white-tailed deer. Technicians will be responsible for sample collection, processing, and data management. Position will require days in excess of eight hours, weekends, work in inclement weather, daily travel, handling of biohazardous waste, and contaminated sharps. Applications accepted until 9/04/2026 at 5:00PM. Selected candidates will receive of interview schedule request on 9/7/2026. Zoom interviews will be conducted September 9-11, 2026 between the hours of 8:00AM and 6:00PM (CST) you must be available these days.
