$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Location:
Office-based in a clinical setting (Houston, TX 77002) with local travel to Baytown and Sugar Land locations.
Schedule:
9/80 work schedule (7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., every other Friday off; working Fridays are remote). Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Drug & Alcohol Collections & Program Support Specialist to join our client's Global Substance Prevention Team. In this role, you will perform DOT and non-DOT specimen collections while providing vital operational and administrative support, ensuring compliance with 49 CFR Part 40 and high standards of confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities Specimen Collections:
Perform DOT and non-DOT urine, hair follicle, oral fluid, breath alcohol (BAT/STT), and instant point-of-collection (POCT) tests while strictly maintaining chain-of-custody protocols.
Program Administration:
Manage MRO safety concern notices, track clock letters, follow up on missing or delayed lab results, and handle test scheduling for pre-employment and random screenings.
Inventory & Supply Management:
Order, track, and manage testing supplies, chain of custody forms (CCFs), and equipment serial numbers to prevent shortages.
Systems & Compliance:
Utilize DISA and FormFox to manage testing events, document collections, and maintain secure electronic records.
Qualifications & Requirements Required:
DOT-qualified Urine Specimen Collector under 49 CFR Part 40 Certified Breath Alcohol Technician (BAT) and/or Screening Test Technician (STT) Strong working knowledge of
DOT 49 CFR
Part 40 and experience with DISA and FormFox Proficiency with
Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word Preferred:
Experience in regulated/safety-sensitive environments, occupational health support, or multi-site collections.
