SUMMARY:
The Purpose of the Hatchery Service person is to be responsible for transporting, grading, counting and stacking boxes of chicks at the hatchery.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include, but are not limited to, the following: Responsible for inspecting chicks and removing dead or cull chicks. Responsible for counting chicks using the automatic counter and placing chicks into clean chick boxes. Must stack boxes of chicks and push stacked boxes of chicks to load-out area and place them onto the trucks for delivery. Responsible for general hatchery cleaning and sanitizing. Responsible for any other duties as deemed necessary by the manager.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will not have supervisory responsibility. EDUCATION and/orEXPERIENCE
Required- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have strong communication skills.
- Must be open to working a variable shift when needed.
