OPPORTUNITY
The Catering Service + Operations Associate is responsible for creating an inspiring catering experience for our guests. They give outstanding hospitality by meeting and exceeding our guests' expectations and providing excellent internal hospitality to the team. Their responsibilities include assisting in the smooth and seamless operations of all aspects of the catering business, reaching financial goals, upholding product quality and consistency standards, mitigating waste, maintaining equipment and facilities, and safely handling all of our products and equipment. They are part of a cohesive Bi-Rite team that supports the Bi-Rite Missions, Vision, and Community Values.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide sales and customer service for guest's catering orders through phone, email, and web. Ensure orders are prepared, packed and delivered according to guest's specifications, including quality and quantity of products, presentation and packaging, signage, delivery, issue resolution, invoices and payment. Coordinates packing and delivery of catering orders through Bi-Rite approved drivers or courier service. Provides a great guest hospitality with knowledge of current catering offerings through creating food and catering quotes, menu creations, along with promotion of sales. Ensures invoices and payments are handled according to Bi-Rite's contracts and terms and processes payments in a timely manner. Assists in the successful running of the catering operations, working directly with the Kitchen and Catering teams to execute department priorities. Incudes supporting the warehouse and delivery team as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required 18 years of age or older. 1+ years experience in sales, customer service, hospitality or similar. Familiarity with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, ability to learn new technologies. ServSafe Certification, California Food Handler card is required within 30 days post-hire. Bi-Rite provides on-site paid training and certification. Fluency in the English language, spoken and written.
