Job Overview Join our vibrant outdoor recreation team as a Trout Pond Fishing Associate! In this energetic role, you will be the friendly face welcoming guests, assisting with fishing activities, and ensuring a safe, enjoyable experience for all visitors. Your enthusiasm for fishing and outdoor fun will help create memorable moments for families and anglers alike. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to share your passion for nature while developing customer service skills in a lively environment. Tips make pay rate quite a bit higher. Duties Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive fishing experience Assist anglers with baiting hooks, casting techniques, and handling fishing equipment Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the pond area, including removing trash and ensuring safety protocols are followed Monitor pond conditions and fish health, reporting any issues to management promptly Enforce safety rules and guidelines to promote responsible fishing practices among visitors Educate guests about local fish species, fishing regulations, and conservation efforts Support event setups or special fishing activities to enhance guest engagement and enjoyment Requirements Passion for outdoor activities, fishing, or wildlife conservation is highly desirable Strong communication skills to engage with guests of all ages in a lively manner Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks outdoors for extended periods Basic knowledge of fishing techniques or willingness to learn on the job Reliable, energetic, and eager to provide exceptional guest service Ability to follow safety procedures diligently and promote responsible fishing behavior Prior experience in customer service or outdoor recreation is a plus but not required Must live in Estes Park or be 15 minute drive from work Must be willing to work to October 15th ,2026 Embark on an exciting journey where your enthusiasm for fishing meets your love of nature! Pay:
$16.00 - $17.00 per hour
