In this lively role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining amusement rides, ensuring a fun, safe, and smooth ride experience. Your energy and customer service skills will help guests feel welcomed and excited while you manage ride operations efficiently. Responsibilities Safely operate amusement rides according to established procedures and safety guidelines, ensuring all guests are secure before starting the ride. Conduct routine inspections of rides and equipment to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards. Provide exceptional guest service by answering questions, assisting with boarding, and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors. Manage guest flow, including loading and unloading riders efficiently while maintaining safety protocols. Handle cash transactions accurately for ride tickets or wristbands, following proper cash handling procedures. Enforce safety rules and regulations, resolving conflicts or concerns promptly to maintain a fun yet secure environment. Assist with crowd control during peak times, providing clear public speaking instructions and directions to guests. Collaborate with team members to coordinate ride schedules, troubleshoot issues, and ensure operational excellence. Support additional guest services such as food service or event management as needed within the resort or entertainment venue. Experience Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or working with children is highly desirable. Experience in events management or public speaking can enhance your ability to engage with guests confidently. Lifeguard experience is a plus, demonstrating strong safety awareness and emergency response skills. Familiarity with conflict management techniques helps in resolving guest concerns effectively. Background in food service or theater environments can provide valuable skills for managing high-energy situations and guest interactions. Prior cash handling experience ensures accuracy during transactions. A passion for creating memorable guest experiences combined with a proactive attitude will help you thrive in this energetic role.
