Job Description:
Clean and sanitize dishes, flatware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using proper techniques and chemical concentrations to meet safety and sanitation standards. Prepare items for washing by scraping and presoaking, ensuring all visible soil is removed before running through the dish machine for effective sanitization. Deliver patient trays and late trays accurately and on time, following identification protocols and confidentiality policies. Transport patient meal carts and bulk nourishment carts to and from nursing units, maintaining cleanliness of all carts and equipment. Restock clean serviceware to designated locations using correct handling procedures, and monitor dishroom sanitation logs, chemical usage, and equipment performance to ensure compliance. Other duties as assigned.
Education:
High School Grad or Equiv [Preferred]
Additional Information:
Food Safety Handler Certificate preferred or as required by state
Licenses and Certifications:
