Wolverine Lawn Services is seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team as Sidewalk Crew Members for the upcoming winter season. As a Sidewalk Crew Member, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of our community by keeping sidewalks, entrances, steps, and other pedestrian areas clear of snow and ice during winter weather events. Responsibilities Remove snow and ice from sidewalks, entrances, steps, and pedestrian areas using shovels, snow blowers, and power brooms Apply salt and other de-icing products as needed Operate small equipment safely and efficiently Communicate effectively with Crew Leads and Zone Leaders during each weather event Assist teammates in areas where equipment cannot reach Follow all safety and quality standards set by Wolverine Lawn Services Work safely in cold, snowy, and low-light conditions Qualifications Dependable and able to report promptly when called Comfortable working outdoors in winter weather conditions Able to lift at least 50 pounds and perform physical work for extended periods Team-oriented and safety-conscious Reliable transportation to the assigned reporting location Previous experience in snow removal, landscaping, or construction is helpful but not required Compensation $23$28 per hour based on experience and role. This is a seasonal, on-call position with most shifts occurring overnight during third-shift hours. Shift lengths and weekly hours will vary depending on weather conditions, and extended shifts may be required during larger storms.
