SUMMARY:
The Purpose of the Hatchery Egg Room Attendant is to assist with receiving and inventory of eggs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include, but are not limited to, the following: Take a daily inventory of eggs. Assist drivers in loading and unloading of trucks. Receive eggs and insure proper documentation, and confirm eggs are marked correctly. Complete egg sets, line up, and pre-warm as needed. Receive shipments, ensure invoices are correct and turned in for payment. Keep egg room clean. Maintain biosecurity measures for egg room. Dispose of cull eggs as needed. Inspect egg pack and ensure correct holding parameters. Help clean floors and general cleaning. Fix buggy wheels as needed. Assist in completing incubation and automation tasks as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will not have supervisory responsibility. EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have strong communication skills and be able to work in MS Excel.
  • Must be open to working a variable shift when needed.
