About us Dakota Midland Grain, LLC is a small business in Voltaire, ND. We are professional, customer-centric and collaborative.
Our work environment includes:
Growth opportunities On-the-job training Safe work environment We are looking for a hardworking and reliable individual to join our team of grain elevators. The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for maintaining the facility and ensuring its cleanliness and compliance with housekeeping and safety requirements. This position works primarily in and around the grain elevator, but shoud be epected to help in other areas when needed. Reports to location manager.
Responsibilities:
Follows and engages in adhering to all company safety policies and procedures. Operate equipment to move grain to storage bins. Operate and maintain buildings and equipment. Monitor grain flow activity to ensure safe operation of equipment. Operate vehicles to transport grain from the elevator to market via railcar or truck. Provide excellent customer service. Assist with agronomy operations when required, duties include dry fertilizer plant operations, NH3 loading, seed and chemical handling. Due to the nature of our business this job is not limited to 8-5 Monday-Friday, must be willing and able to work after regular work hours, weekends, holidays, etc. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
History of working safely and a reputation for promoting and getting involved in safety improvement efforts. Due to the nature of our business this job is not limited to 8-5 Monday-Friday, must be willing and able to work after regular work hours, weekends, holidays, etc. Physical requirements of the job require ability to climb stairs, periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights; bending, kneeling and the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs, including DMG's fit for duty test. Prompt attendance.

$20.00 - $21.00 per hour
