PT Adult Learning Center Instructor

JOB SUMMARY

: The Williston State College Adult Learning Center is seeking a GED instructor interested and available to work on a part-time basis. Classes are to be scheduled during the week day hours in Williston. The GED classes are designed to assist students with preparation for GED official exams. There are 4 GED exams, RLA, Math, Science and Social Studies. The state of North Dakota requires each GED graduate to also complete a civics exam. Classes will focus on subjects based on student needs. Tutoring can be offered to students who ask or need extra support.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Math, Social Science, or related field. Proficient math skills and the demonstrated ability to teach math at all levels

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION

Maaster 's degree in Education, Math, Social Science or related field. State teaching license and experience with instruction and curriculum planning

SALARY :

$28 per hour
