Job Summary Hill Manager duties: Ensure Safety/regulatory compliance of all facilities, equipment and operations protocols Oversee daily operations Manage, operate, maintain: Snowmaking systems, including snow guns, pumps, compressors, and piping Grooming systems and personnel Ski patrol facilities and personnel Lift systems/operations and personnel Landscape, buildings and grounds maintenance General equipment maintenance Lodge appearance, inspections, kitchen Coordination of seasonal projects Supervision, training, and scheduling of hill operations staff Conduct off-season testing and maintenance of all hill systems and equipment Maintain operational logs and reports for snowmaking, grooming, lift operations maintenance, inspections, and groundskeeping. Respond to incidents, emergencies, or guest concerns promptly and professionally. Manage preseason setup and postseason shutdown of hill operations Qualifications Experience in mountain operations, ski area management, outdoor recreation management Experience with snowmaking, grooming, and lift systems equipment maintenance Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements for lifts, cable systems, food services, and insurance inspections Strong leadership and staff supervision skills Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Basic Life Support (BLS) certification OSHA-compliant certificate for snow groomer operation Experience in landscape maintenance, brush/tree removal, and lodge upkeep Experience in staff training and operational scheduling for winter resorts Familiarity with inspection and auditing processes for regulatory compliance Physical Requirements Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions year-round Ability to lift up to 50 Ibs and perform physical tasks related to equipment maintenance and grounds keeping Required to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak seasons

Pay:

$30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 70.0 per week
