Who We Are:

Hord Farms is a diversified farming operation in North-Central Ohio currently farming corn, beans, wheat, and barley, in addition to raising pigs and cattle. Our Hord Elevator division is hiring a seasonal scale room technician at our Bucyrus location. No experience is required; training will be provided! A Day in the

Life:

Oversee trucks weighing in and out of facility Probe grain and/or ingredient trucks Perform quality testing on grain and/or ingredient samples and enter results into computer Talk to drivers to get load information in-person and/or over radio Maintain cleanliness of the work area Seasonal position: Mid-September through November Hours are flexible! We are more than happy to work around your school schedule or any other commitments you may have, but ideally, candidates should have some availability within our primary business hours of 7:30AM - 5PM Monday - Friday. Opportunities for evening hours (as late as 10PM) and Saturday hours may be available as well, but are not required. Please note that exact hours/days worked may vary based on weather

What You Need:

Strong attention to detail and superb organizational skills Ability to work in a fast paced environment Willingness to consistently follow repeated steps to ensure accuracy Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows and email No exposure to non-Hord pigs
