Do you want to be part of the largest orthopaedic provider in Eastern Tennessee? Join the team at KOC in our Clinical Department, where we provide personalized care in a collaborative and supportive environment. We are currently seeking (2) Full-Time Cast Technicians who are committed to providing superior service and eager to grow within a highly respected orthopaedic practice at our various KOC offices.
Schedule :
Four 10-hour shifts weekly, with at least two evening shifts and occasional Saturday rotations. Travel between clinic locations is required. At Knoxville Orthopaedic Clinic, our purpose is to improve lives through patient-centered care — every patient, every time. And we've been doing just that since our founding in 1930.
Key Responsibilities:
Applies, adjusts and removes orthopaedic casts, splints, and braces Measure and fit patients for braces and other orthopaedic devices Duties performed under the direction of an orthopaedic physician or assigned provider to support injured patients Provide patient education on cast care, use of crutches and DME Change dressings and care for wounds Maintain supply inventory, clean and stock patient rooms and storage closets Assist with documenting patient care in electronic medical records (EMR)
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
Medical office experience required Basic EHR proficiency (NexGen preferred) Previous casting experience preferred Maintain patient confidentiality and compliance standards Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment Dedication to providing exceptional patient care and service
