Job Description

Job description YC Nurseries was founded in 1981 in Dallas, Texas and has since grown to become one of the largest ready plant producers in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Our two sales locations and delivery fleet make pick-up and delivery fast and efficient across Dallas-Fort Worth.

Responsibilities of Position:

Work outdoors in all weather conditions for an 8+ hour shift Pick-up product from the ground and load on nursery carts. Unload product from nursery carts and delivery trucks and put down on the ground. Push & pull nursery carts for extended periods of time Assist with pulling and loading customer orders and store transfers. Assist with merchandising and organization of product around the nursery. Provide support and work on the production line during peak planting season. Assist with unloading shipments of finished plant material and other hardgoods. Perform other duties as needed to assist other members of the team. Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

Ability to work in the rain and other inclement weather conditions, including cold and hot weather conditions. Must be able to stand/walk, bend/lift from the ground, and push/pull for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more on a regular basis throughout the day. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and work under pressure. Works well independently and in a team. Previous customer service experience preferred. Experience operating equipment preferable. Experience in nursery or landscape industry a plus. Bilingual desired, but not required. Good attention to detail, punctual, and dependable. Benefits /
