Christian Pottery Market Vendor Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and faith-driven Christian Pottery Vendor to join our ministry-focused market presence. This unique role combines artisanal craftsmanship with spiritual outreach, offering handmade Christian pottery that serves as both functional art and a vessel for sharing God's message. The ideal candidate will have a heart for ministry, strong communication skills, and a passion for using creativity to connect people with faith. This position rotates between the Waukesha and Brookfield Farmers Markets from May through October, providing an excellent opportunity to reach diverse communities with the message of Christ through beautiful, handcrafted pottery. Ministry Opportunity This position serves as a front-line ministry opportunity, allowing you to engage with the community and share the Gospel through the medium of pottery. Each piece tells a story and opens doors for meaningful spiritual conversations in a relaxed market setting. You'll be representing not just a product, but a ministry that aims to feed people spiritually through artistic expression. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly while representing Christ through your interactions and exceptional service Share the inspiration and biblical messages behind our Christian pottery pieces to encourage spiritual reflection Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Create meaningful connections with customers that may lead to spiritual conversations and community building Articulate how each pottery piece connects to Scripture or Christian themes when customers express interest Maintain an attractive display that showcases the spiritual significance of our pottery collection Manage inventory between the rotating market locations (Waukesha and Brookfield) Pray for opportunities to minister to those whom God brings to our market booth Be prepared to share personal testimony of faith when appropriate in customer interactions Collect prayer requests and contact information from interested customers for follow-up ministry Assist with setting up and breaking down the market booth at both locations Skills & Qualifications Committed Christian faith with the ability to articulate biblical principles naturally in conversation Experience with or willingness to learn about pottery techniques to effectively communicate the craftsmanship Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities Experience with POS systems, cashiering, and cash handling procedures Ability to recognize and respond to spiritual needs while maintaining professional boundaries Knowledge of Scripture and comfort in relating it to artistic expressions Friendly demeanor with authentic passion for ministry through creativity Reliability and flexibility to rotate between Waukesha and Brookfield markets Physical ability to transport, set up, and pack pottery displays safely What This Role Offers This position provides more than just a job—it's an opportunity to participate in marketplace ministry while developing valuable retail skills.
