As a Produce Inspector, you will play a vital role in maintaining food safety compliance, conducting thorough inspections of produce, and supporting quality assurance processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors in dynamic farm environments while contributing to the integrity of our food supply chain. Your expertise will help uphold regulatory standards and promote consumer confidence in our products. Duties Ability to drive a forklift is a requirement. Experience with inspecting fruits/vegatables. Ability to lift and carry boxes up to 40 lbs. Document inspection results accurately using inspection reporting and documentation procedures. Bilingual is preferred. Spanish is required. Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office for data entry, reporting, and documentation purposes. Knowledge of farming techniques, agriculture practices, and food processing operations. Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic equipment issues encountered during inspections. Strong understanding of food safety standards such as CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP principles. Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and quality assessments. Experience with outdoor work environments and agricultural product inspections. Familiarity with FDA regulations, food sanitation practices, and quality assurance protocols. Excellent attention to detail for quality inspection and inspection reporting accuracy.
