Quality Control Inspector

  • 30/hour | 1st Shift | Temporary Immediate openings! Start ASAP. Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Quality Control Inspector / Quality Technician for a food manufacturing company in Rochelle, IL. 00/hour, based on experience Monday-Friday 6:00 AM-2:30 PM Weekends off Overtime may be available, but overtime is never mandatory Temporary assignment through December Immediate start What You'll Do As a Quality Control Inspector, you'll help make sure food products meet quality and food safety standards.
Responsibilities include:
Collecting product samples from production Performing quality inspections and basic laboratory testing Documenting and reporting test results Preparing samples for outside laboratory testing when needed Recording and maintaining laboratory results Preparing and verifying Certificates of Analysis (COAs) Maintaining laboratory supplies and reporting inventory needs Working with production employees to resolve quality concerns Following food safety, quality, and company procedures
What We're Looking For Preferred:
1+ year of quality control, quality assurance, inspection, laboratory, or similar experience Food manufacturing or food production experience Familiarity with food safety and quality procedures Strong attention to detail Accurate recordkeeping and documentation skills Dependable and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment Good communication and teamwork skills Forklift experience is a plus, but NOT required. Experience as a Quality Inspector, Quality Technician, QC Technician, QA Technician, Food Safety Technician, Laboratory Technician, Quality Assurance Inspector, or Food Manufacturing Technician may be a great fit for this position.
