  • Produce experience is required The selected candidate will understand the responsibility for the safe receiving, handling, storage of and shipping of inventory by creating, training, and enforcing a comprehensive Food Safety Program.
The position's responsibilities are but are not limited to the areas listed below: Perform inspections on product lots using our QC inspection platform (or manual platform if or when systems are down). Generate and communicate QC reports as requested. Assist the warehouse operations with performing physical counts of inventory when needed. Will report and assist in resolving any physical count discrepancies. Perform QC inspections of items that are being worked on in the repack area to ensure that the process is following the established quality program. Monitor and ensure that the hired pest control company is performing as expected with proper documentation, current manuals and traps properly located and numbered according to mapped plan. Move and inspect items that have already been put away within the storage area of the warehouse. Forklift experience is a plus.
Requirements:
  • Bilingual in English & Spanish is required.
  • Produce experience is required Attention to detail Good written and verbal communication skills (English & Spanish) Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Good computer and math skills to calibrate and measure specifications.
Ability to use measuring devices and computers. In-depth understanding of food processing company standards. Documentation and reporting skills. Teamwork and collaboration. Comfortable standing or walking for long periods of time. Able to work inside a warehouse cooler Must have previous experience in QC.
Salary:
$15 starting off
