Groundhand Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and reliable Groundhand to support our outdoor operations. The ideal candidate will assist with various tasks on job sites, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality in every project. This role involves hands-on work in outdoor environments, operating equipment, and supporting team members to complete projects effectively. The Groundhand will play a vital role in maintaining safety standards while contributing to the successful completion of landscaping, tree care, or similar outdoor projects. Duties Assist with the operation of lawn care and job-specific equipment, including chainsaws and other power tools. Drive company vehicles to and from job sites safely and efficiently. Handle debris removal by taking waste materials to designated dump sites. Take before and after photos of completed work for documentation purposes. Wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times to ensure safety on the job site. Support team members with various tasks as needed to ensure project progress and quality. Use job management software (Jobber) to document work activities, time logs, and project updates. Maintain a clean and organized work environment on-site. Skills Proven outdoor work experience with the ability to handle physical tasks in various weather conditions. Familiarity with operating lawn care equipment and power tools such as chainsaws. Ability to drive safely and responsibly to multiple job locations. Knowledge of safety procedures related to outdoor work and equipment use, including PPE requirements. Basic proficiency with job management software like Jobber is preferred. Strong attention to detail for taking accurate before and after photos and documenting work activities. Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions effectively.
