Overview We are in need of additional field hands to work in our nursery, planting, pruning, moving, and caring for our trees, plants, and shrubs. Experience in a nursery or farm grown trees, vegetables, plants and shrubs is helpful. Duties Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris, leveling ground, and setting up equipment for upcoming work. Support skilled workers by carrying tools, materials, and supplies to designated areas on-site. Operate basic machinery and tools safely under supervision, such as shovels, wheelbarrows, and power equipment. Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and others. Conduct routine inspections of the work site to identify hazards or issues requiring attention. Help with loading and unloading materials from trucks or storage areas as needed. Maintain cleanliness of the work area by disposing of waste and organizing supplies regularly. Experience Previous experience in outdoor labor or construction-related roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks consistently throughout the workday. Strong attention to safety procedures and willingness to adhere to all safety regulations. Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions clearly from supervisors. Reliable attendance record with a proactive attitude toward teamwork and task completion.
