Job Description

Smith Lawnscapes LLC, a family-oriented landscape construction and maintenance company, is seeking a dependable Equipment Operator and Crew Member to join our dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate landscape and construction equipment safely and efficiently (skid steer, mini excavator, loaders, compactors, etc.) Assist with landscape construction, hardscape installs, grading, and site prep Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance Follow job plans, safety procedures, and quality standards Work closely with Crew Leaders and team members Support snow removal operations during the winter months Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project deadlines are met
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience operating landscape or construction equipment Valid driver's license and a clean driving record Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions Strong work ethic, dependability, and punctuality Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team Ability to lift 50+ lbs, bend, kneel, and perform physical labor Knowledge of safety procedures related to equipment operation and outdoor construction Willingness to learn and take pride in craftsmanship Ideal candidates should have at least one year of landscape or construction experience
