Zumbro Valley Forestry LLC, a forestry consulting business based 6 miles north of Rochester, Minnesota, is looking for a motivated person to work full time. This position will include general forest and prairie management work in S.E. Minnesota. Job responsibilities will include forest and prairie management practices such as invasive species control, timber stand improvement, tree planting, woody stem removal in prairies, prescribed burns, and more. Need to be physically fit and able to work outdoors. Certain projects are physically demanding. Some forestry, natural resource management, or chainsaw experience preferred. We are a natural resource management business offering forest management and prairie management (Prairie Land Professionals) assistance to landowners, state, county, city, and federal entities in southern Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
