Crew Lead Position Overview:

PRF is seeking a Forestry Specialist for Moore, Lee and Scotland County and surrounding Counties of North Carolina. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in forestry services or for the experienced while working independently in outdoor environments. The work involves a variety of forestry-related tasks that contribute to environmental sustainability and community safety.

Responsibilities:

Identify and mark danger trees along transmission utility lines. Conduct data collection and pre-planning activities. Communicate project notifications and updates with private landowners. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and participate in ongoing training.

Requirements:

Associate or Bachelor degree in Forestry or a related field preferred. 1+ years of experience in Forestry, Natural Resources, or Utility Vegetation Management. Must be at least 18 years of age . Possess a valid driver's license .

Skills & Abilities:

Strong computer and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with co-workers in field conditions . Self-motivated to work diligently in various outdoor conditions . Willingness to take the required company safety courses (quarterly & yearly). Participate in on-the-job performance evaluations .
